The Botanical House

…looking on to the Tofino Botanical Gardens

Botanical House is a fully equipped, self contained vacation rental home featuring three bedrooms, two baths, a separate office/TV room, comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove, and a wonderful fir-slab dining table that seats up to ten people. Built in the craftsmen tradition, the house has a large open living/dining and kitchen space, with a spacious outdoor deck, partially covered with a glass roof.

We’ve thought of every detail so you don’t have to – from games, puzzles, movies and CDs – books and field guides about the local area – and a fully-equipped kitchen.

What makes us different from other vacation rentals?

We're the only vacation rental in Tofino looking on to the beautiful 12 acre Tofino Botanical Gardens. Not only do you have your own private garden to enjoy, but you can also stroll the paths and boardwalks throughout the Gardens during your stay. You can also enjoy the other amenities at the Botanical Gardens, such as the Clayoquot Field Station (a classroom/dormitory facility with educational programs, located in the Gardens), The Garden Café, and The Shed natural history and garden gift shop.

Botanical House is waterfront – on Tofino’s “other” waterfront. The Gardens lie alongside 2100 acres of protected mudflat and forest. The falling tide leaves over a mile of glistening mudflats, teeming with life large (shorebirds, herons, eagles, and bears) and small (crabs, mud shrimp, and clams).

Botanical House is children and pet-friendly. There is a play pen here, as well as an assortment of toys and childrens’ books.

Botanical House is a privately-owned house directly affiliated with the charitable Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation.  A portion of all proceeds from house rentals is donated to the charity. We appreciate your business, and your support of the Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation.
