RAINFOREST & GARDEN TOURS
Everyday through July & August
Join one of our interpreters for a tour of the gardens or a rainforest tour. Each tour is approximately 45 minutes. There is at least one tour daily during July and August.

ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION
Ongoing: Year Round
We offer the educational programs to school groups, university and colleges and to private groups interested in learning more about the natural history of Clayoquot Sound.

CLAYOQUOT 101
Ongoing: Based on Availability
This program's intention is to introduce participants to the terrestrial and marine ecology of Clayoquot Sound. The entire program is conducted on our property, and allows ample time for relaxation and reflection.

STUDENT FIELD TRIPS
Ongoing, Year Round
We encourage Elementary & Secondary schools to stay with us at the Clayoquot Field Station and use the Gardens and the mudflats for educational activities. We can provide a curriculum for your students or your class can bring your own.

Two great programs to get your kids outside learning about natural history. Roots & Shoots is for tykes 4-7 years old and Plant Hunters is for 8-12 year-olds.

First Annual Ahousaht & Hesquiaht Camp: June 4-6, 2008
The Ahousaht and Hesquiaht grade six students came to the Field Station this year for their first time for experiential outdoor learning focusing on the core concepts of sustainability. NATURALIST'S WEEKEND at the 11th ANNUAL TOFINO SHOREBIRD FESTIVAL
April 25th - 27th, 2008
Expert naturalists convened with participants from Vancouver Island and the lower mainland for a weekend adventure of mudflat exploration, birding, and natural history walks during the Annual Tofino Shorebird Festival.

Philosophers from around Vancouver Island and the lower mainland convened at the Clayoquot Field Station through a weekend in April for a moderated discussion titled:

“Understanding Nature, Changing the World”
Changing the argument between ecologists and economists, environmentalists and industry, protesters and workers into a productive conversation

Participating members were from Malaspina University-College, University of Victoria, Institute for Coastal Research, Tla-o-qui-aht First Nations, Tofino and Ucluelet
