Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation is home to the Tofino Botanical Gardens and the Clayoquot Field Station. We are a non-profit organization and a registered Canadian charity, located on a 12-acre waterfront site in the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Our mission is to inspire conservation of the world's temperate, coastal rainforests.

We endeavour to explore the relationship between culture and nature by pursing interests across disciplinary lines. We are dedicated to the creation of a living classroom where future generations will learn about the natural and cultural history of Clayoquot Sound and the remaining coastal temperate rainforests of the world.

Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation is a registered Canadian charity (Registered Charity #87275 5202 RR0001).

We encourage donations to help support our mission of education about and conservation of the world's temperate coastal rainforests. All donations will receive a charitable tax receipt. Please contact us for more information. 

MEMBERSHIP

A membership with Tofino Botanical Gardens gives an individual or family year-round access to the Gardens. Cost is only $25 for an individual or $50 for a family (two adults and up to two children over age 12). Memberships are annual and the cost includes GST. Members also receive 10% off items in the Gift Shop.

VOLUNTEERING

Volunteers have played an important role in the development of many of the Garden's features.  We have collaborated with students, interns, WWOOFers, artists, travelers and local residents. For volunteers from outside Tofino and Ucluelet, we can provide accommodations and facilities for individuals and groups who bring interest, enthusiasm and energy to a project.
