Poster & Short Film Session & Reception

Tuesday May 10
12 - 3 pm - posters available for viewing at Tin Wis Hall
3 - 6 pm - authors present with posters at Tin Wis Hall
3 - 6 pm - short films for viewing in mini-theatre at Tin Wis Hall

Poster authors: Please drop off your poster on Tuesday May 10th between 7 am and 10 am at the Tin Wis Main Hall. You must take your poster down at 6 pm after the session is over.

The poster session takes place in the Tin Wis Hall on Tuesday, May 10 after morning field trips. From 3 pm to 6 pm, authors will be present to answer questions about their research. Light refreshments will be available, as well as a cash bar for beer and wine purchases.

Posters will be placed into themed pods (e.g., all posters related to ethnomedicine will be nearby each other), and at an appointed time for each pod, there will be a "mini-walking tour" of all posters in a pod where authors will introduce themselves and give a one minute statement about their poster. After the mini-walking tour, you will then be able to wander back to each poster and engage authors in conversation.

A full schedule of walking-tours plus a detailed map of the floor layout will be made available in your Congress Programme when you arrive in Tofino.

Titles below are of confirmed poster (authors have confirmed and registered). It will be regularly updated as authors register. If you believe your name should be here and you do not see it, please contact the congress Organizers at  [email protected]

Please see a list of the short films that will be playing during the Congress by clicking here.
