Community Exchange
On Tuesday May 12 from 6 pm to 10 pm, the Congress will host a unique "Community Exchange Event" at Tofino's Community Hall. This event will feature visiting and local organizations and vendors set up in booths in a market-style atmosphere, complete with food, music, and dancing. The goal of the exchange is for local residents and Congress participants to be able to learn about each other and net work in an informal way that is not so “conference-y.” It will also be a great opportunity for our visitors to pick up local books and artisanal items to take home as souvenirs!
Entry is free of charge for all congress participants and local community members, and we hope you will come out to meet, mix and mingle!

FURTHER INFORMATION FOR EXHIBITORS
Each “booth” will consist of a 5 or 6 foot long table and two chairs. No table coverings are provided. Access to electricity is limited. To help cover the costs of this event, those who are selling items will be asked to provide a small "booth rental fee" on a sliding scale (from $5 to $30). The event organizer will work with you to determine what you can provide.
Due to limited space, we regret that it may not be possible for all people or organizations to participate. We will provide space to both local and visiting organizations and individuals and we will strive to provide an equitable distribution of types of organizations and displays. Preference will be given to those vendors who are selling locally-made or hand-made items (no commercially produced or non-local items, excepting books by local authors).We thank you for your understanding!
