OUR PROPERTY

Tofino Botanical Gardens Foundation is situated on a 12 acre waterfront property next to an 80-acre forest preserve. Our waterfront looks onto the 5000-acre Tofino Mudflats Wildlife Management Area, and we are within the 500,000-acre UNESCO Clayoquot Sound Biosphere Reserve.

The location of our property provides easy access to an unparalleled set of natural and cultural resources for a broad range of study topics. We have created over a kilometer of paths and boardwalks that wind throughout the property to encourage exploration, surprise, strolling and tranquility.

Working with the concept that a garden is more than just a collection of plants, we have constructed a number of small structures and display a diverse collection of outdoor sculpture throughout the property.
