Focus on Outdoor Education
Most of the classes at Sustainability Camp are taught outside in the Tofino Botanical Gardens
or on the nearby beaches

The Solar Car Challenge
After hands-on learning about the mechanisms and importance of photovoltaics, students play an educational game racing radio controlled cars interspersed with questions about renewable energy

Preparing the collage of trash collected along Tofino's pedestrian path
Students learn about the lifecycle of consumer products while cleaning up the bike path and then create a collage to educate others and reinforce their own learning
